In the territory occupied by this locality, there is a small hermitage dedicated to Santa Águeda on the old road to Guardo, and on a hill overlooking the entire village, some remains of an ancient defensive and control tower of the northwest of the province, and the church of Santa Eulalia de Mérida, from the 17th-18th century, which still preserves some original Romanesque elements.
